Please help to connect the NAS directly to the computer

There is a NAS with an ethernet connection. When it is connected to a wi-fi point, everything is fine. But attempts to connect it directly to the laptop have not been successful so far (it does not respond).

Through the web interface, I changed the NAS's IP-over-DHCP to static, and copied the rest of the network settings from the laptop - is that correct? Or how to?

To connect to the laptop, I used the same cable that connected to the Wi-Fi point. Maybe an “inverted” cable is also needed here, but first of all I would like to find out which settings are correct.

Wi-Fi Router: Laptop's ipconfig: NAS:

IP address: 10.188.85.124 (static)
NetMask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 10.188.84.1
DNS server: 192.168.248.21

IP address: 192.168.1.100 (allocated by the router)
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DHCP-serv: 192.168.1.1
DNS Server: 192.168.248.21, 192.168.1.1

IP Address: 192.168.1.105 (static)
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS Server: 192.168.248.21

If it is impossible to leave it empty, then indicate the ip of the laptop, i.e. 192.168.1.100
