Monitoring the status of the hard disks of a raid array, on Ubuntu. How?

At my new job, I got a bunch of different servers, without a minimum transfer of cases, they transferred a fleet of servers, among which was a hyperion rs 220 g4, with Samba deployed on it on Ubuntu, without GUI.
I myself with Linux, even superficially, talked about 10 years ago.
The raid is a hardware array, and there is no way to disassemble and see the manufacturer.
On the manufacturer's website, I did not find either the manufacturer of the hardware raid or specialized software for monitoring the status of the raid.
Ubuntu naturally sees only two disks after the raid. What steps should be taken to be able to read smart discs in the easiest way for timely replacement.

1. Find out the model of the raid controller (lspci, lshw, etc.)
2. Install the utility from the manufacturer (useful resource hwraid.le-vert.net )
3. Monitor

I envy your optimism.
First, you should find out if backups are being made, are they done often enough, are all the necessary ones backed up and are there any errors, are they suitable for recovery.
Secondly, you should make a plan of what you will do if the RAID controller dies on Friday evening (and you say that the RAID is hardware), this array of disks will not rise on the first controller that comes across.
Reading SMART is interesting and useful, but it's the tenth thing, especially since sometimes a disk shows a good SMART today, and suddenly dies tomorrow.

Thanks everyone, got it.
It turns out the file server is spinning on Hyper-V.
Raid 10 on lsi megaraid 9271. from four 3TB disks. Smarts are in good condition.
The weight fell off my shoulders.
