Organization of the working environment at home?

Good afternoon friends. I plan to make repairs in the apartment and everything is new in the "new apartment", so to speak))
I want to organize my workspace, my gadgets. Refresh so to speak. To have convenient access to files from anywhere, ease of use. Simple and concise. To be able to relax and have fun. I plan to get rid of a stationary PC and get by with one laptop. Interested in your advice on choosing equipment models and maybe photos of how it all works for you. Holiday homes, not much work with docks. reading books. Watch movies and games on the console.
Available:
HP Elitebook 2560p laptop (I think I will not change)
iPad mini 2
Xbox one I
plan to purchase:
NAS server. For file storage and torrento rocking chairs + print server
WiFi Router ac (with a margin so to speak)
TV with DLNA support, with 3D
New phone with ease of taking notes, not "lag in the menus"
And I think maybe an electronic clock.
I understand that the question may not find answers / approval. But maybe there are already those who, so to speak, arranged their harmony in gadgets.

I plan to get rid of a stationary PC and get by with one laptop.

Then reprofile it "For file storage and torrento rocking + print server"
It is much more convenient, at least for me, my wife and many friends, to do this at the table and on a normal monitor.
Is there a router now, and closes the questions? Why change? It will take - buy and put another in the same place.
And don't rely on WiFi. While the repair - it is possible and necessary to forward the wire from the router to it without problems. And better - two computer wires and an antenna for satellite TV.

IMHO, I don't see the point for the home in specialized devices in size and price, almost like a PC (I'm talking about NAS).
I have it organized like this:
1) 1 PC with 4 hotswap 3.5hdd (torrent daemon, nfs server, vpn client) universal;
2) 2 PC - small mini-pc with passive cooling (xbmc, nfs-client) for content, connected to a TV set;
3) working laptop (nfs client, vpn client);
4) wife's laptop (nfs client, vpn client);
5) vps (nfs client, vpn server, owncloud server on nfs partition);
6) phone (owncloud client through a third-party application, it is possible to configure nfs / sftp);
7) on a remote working PC vpn-client;

The TV set on WiFi will lag, definitely, I bought a media player with WiFi for the kitchen, having suffered a little - I extended a twisted pair cable to it.
In general, my config is as follows: a router, a NAS with a torrent downloader and a WD My Book Live media server, from a twisted pair router along the baseboards to: a media player in the room, a media player in the kitchen, a workplace on the balcony. Relatives / children are sitting on WiFi with tablets and laptops - enough for surfing / casual games. Movies from NAS periodically merge on portable drives - those that I liked.
If I did it all over again, then I would lay a twisted pair cable into the wall in all rooms, and gigabit. Sockets and so made in every corner of each room paired legrand - enough, at the workplace on the balcony - 4 pieces, not enough (computer, monitor, printer, audio - and that's it, recharge the laptop - take an extension cord).
Of the unrealized - "charging shelves": a shelf and a block of sockets for 10 pieces are made in the closet, charges are plugged into the sockets and they live there. You need to charge - put the gadget on the shelf, choose the tail and recharge :)
