Organization of an OpenVPN network on nimbix and amazon AWS virtual servers while maintaining the ability to cross requests over eth0, really?

Gentlemen, I welcome:
I have a task: it is necessary to organize a secure network.
The bottom line is this:
There is 1 server on amazon AWS, it has some software, if necessary, this software raises an additional server to nimbix, and gives it a task. once in a certain period of time, it knocks on the external IP of the server, and checks if the nimbix server has finished working, if it has, it takes the result and turns off the server.
Requirements:
You must create a secure OpenVPN network between amazon and nimbix, and have all packets go over it.
Raise OpenVPN and set up no problems, but to force packets to go on eth0 and so that they are under vpn ... I have no idea.
Are there any methods to solve this issue?
Or is it necessary to add software so that it looks at IP tap0 from the OpenVPN logs and already sends requests to it?

I re-read your question twice, I did not understand to be honest.
What does eth0 mean? The fact is that no matter what VPN you have, the packet will still go through the interface, even eth0.
Let's try to guess. Your packets do not go to the VPN, but do they go directly? If yes, then the problem is in the OpenVPN settings. You have not set routes and therefore you do not have any VPN.
Or are you trying to ping external addresses, while hoping that the traffic will be encrypted? is also incorrect, you need to ping the internal ones.
