Open VPN. private-key-password-failure. How to fix?

Raised the openvpn server on ubuntu 16.04 according to the manual from digital ocean. When connecting from a client machine on Windows, I get the following error:
Thu May 17 08:11:09 2018 SIGUSR1[soft,private-key-password-failure] received, process restarting I
leave the private key empty when creating the config. Which way to look and how to fix?

It looks like you used the "build-key-pass" command instead of "build-key". It is easy to confuse if read fluently.

When generating certificates, did you specify the password for the private key of the client certificate? Here it must be specified on the client, if it exists
