Open Ubuntu shared folder on Mac os x?

Hello!
In ubuntu I configured the ball through samba. Created a user.
If you open through windows, then everything is OK - I enter the username and password, a network drive is connected.
On the Mac it says the password is wrong. What can be wrong?

When I needed the same, we went the other way - I gave the folder via FTP.
Since there was exactly the same problem and it was decided to go the quick way.

For a poppy, it's better to fumble NFS or AFP, it works much more stable.
If it’s still smb, then the first thing I would do is build a normal samba from ports / brew, there is an article on Habré.
