Open IP or not?

I work as a frontend developer. I get almost 2-3 average salaries (everything is extremely unstable).
But I'm not official. Those. studios hire me, there are constants, but I don’t want to get a job.
And so the question arose: should I make myself an IP?
It doesn’t seem to make much sense, but what if I suddenly need a loan for a new car or something else?
Well, the status as an employee will grow - not some schoolboy (not in the literal sense, I'm 22), but a direct entrepreneur.
But here's the ambush. You have to pay tax.
Like you can make peace? And now, advertising is everywhere for me to open an account for an individual entrepreneur: they say that 2500 per month and this bank is not from the top ten. Is it really that expensive to maintain an IP account?
Maybe someone else can add minuses, pluses?
Or maybe someone is also a developer and has an IP in the same situation, what can you say?
UPD: decided not to register as an individual entrepreneur. Thanks for the answers)
UPD: at the end of 17, I registered as an individual entrepreneur on the patent taxation system and pay taxes per year only ~ 30k + ~ 12k + 1% of income if they exceed 300,000 rubles.
I don’t need to keep accounting, except for the income book in Excel, which DOES NOT need to be submitted anywhere.

Your IP status will not be affected in any way. From experience, I can say that the status of a freelancer is even lower than that of an officially employed one. In fact, such an individual entrepreneur is perceived as unemployed. If you want a real status - register a full-fledged legal entity. person, open a company, rent an office, hire employees, etc.
The tax for individual entrepreneurs on the simplified tax system is 6%. Pennies. In your case, it may even become equal to 0%, since it will be covered from the payment of mandatory insurance premiums. Regarding the account - there are banks that do not charge a service fee. The same module bank.
Among other things, you will have to keep some kind of bookkeeping. Calculate the amount of tax, fill out declarations, go to the tax office to submit reports. But services like Elba or my business are great here. With them, you can do all this automatically and remotely. But for money.
Also, work in white implies the existence of contracts, acts, invoices. By and large, only your bank will need this so that it understands what the money is going to your current account for. And this is a problem not only for you, but also for your customers. I know companies that would rather work with freelancers in the black than contact individual entrepreneurs on the USN. So look, no matter how it turns out that you register in vain.
Personally, I do not see any tangible advantages from this adventure. If the process of working in the white and the process of paying taxes for freelancers were simpler, then it would still be possible. But so far it's all too confused and not worth it.

Despite the fact that you have already made a decision, I still cannot help but write a couple of lines.
For almost 3 years I have been working as an individual entrepreneur, before that I worked for N years "in black". I will write briefly what caused this decision and why I am now happier and more profitable than I was. However, if you do not care about growth prospects, you can not read further.
When the income is small, it seems like it makes no sense to open an individual entrepreneur, because "there is not enough money anyway, you also have to pay tax, some contributions." In fact, this situation very gently and imperceptibly pushes you into the dirt. You subconsciously strive to "keep a low profile", because the more income you have, the more likely you are to get attention from the tax office (and you most likely have already read what happens for illegal business).
Now there are problems with receiving money to the account of an individual - you can receive a large amount once or twice, and the third time the card will be blocked and asked to come to the department to "clarify the circumstances" - this happened with my former partner, now he has also already taken shape like IP.
As for the difficulties of maintaining IP - there are none. Of course, everything has to be done for the first time, and I had to scratch my head on how to properly draw up documents and so on, read a lot and ask advice from those who have already passed this path. But this has to be done only once. Because now, when I already know everything, this is no longer a problem. Accounting is conducted by Moedelo for 8 tyr per year. A bank account was opened, from which 6% go to the benefit of the native country. An agreement with another client is a template in which I simply change the name and a couple of lines about the project. Everything takes 15 minutes at most.
With foreign customers, too, everything is "in white". Paypal rules.
In no case do I insist on opening an individual entrepreneur, but as practice has shown, it’s better to set your real price and not be afraid to develop with a wide protruding chest than to hide in doorways and look for new ATMs every time so that the tax does not set fire to it. Think.

Actually, there is a point.
Let's say you got to work, worked for a while and they threw you a clap, let's say for 40 thousand rubles. - and here two ways of development follow:
1. You are an individual entrepreneur. You entered into an agreement, you download the rights, quite reasonably, and you may even receive a penalty.
2. You are a freelancer and have not entered into a contract. They will tell you: What the hell are you from the mountain? Go away.
It is not difficult to figure out how to conduct an IP, go to the post office to receive / send a letter once or twice a month too. Peace of mind with IP.
Again, suddenly by 25 you want to wind up somewhere in Europe? With a proven track record, getting a work visa is easier than some bullshit.

I'll add another point that was not noted in the answers.
When weighing the pros and cons, it is also worth considering that your client may be a legal entity. person in charge of accounting. And this means that your client may be on the "STS income minus expenses" or "OSNO" system, which will not interfere with your "papers", for example, "Act of work performed" or "Invoice with VAT" to reduce their expenses.
It is clear that this case is quite situational, but my business acquaintances and I periodically have situations when a client chooses a contractor because it is possible to pay to a current account and receive the necessary "paper".

I once asked a similar question, but for myself I considered the option with an LLC. Registered and here's what I'll say.
Pros:
And, frankly, I don’t find objective pluses anymore.
Minuses:

  • Delivery of reports. Yes - there are services, yes - they greatly simplify the task, but you still need to have some basic understanding of accounting. It may be easier for individual entrepreneurs, but after several fines I hired an accountant. I'm just tired of constantly having a headache about these pieces of paper.
  • Bank expenses. If you want a normal bank with an adequate client bank or Internet banking, you will have to pay from 2000 per month.
  • Various states. structures will flood you with spam that comes to your favorite Russian Post. And, either you will suffer in the queues, or pay for delivery to the door. And it is dangerous to ignore these letters, as something important often comes. As a result, I have fun a couple of times a month in the company of grandmothers behind retirement.
  • Working under a contract will not greatly protect you from scams from the client. I realized this when I was preparing for the trial. To win even the most win-win business, you need to have an impeccable contract. Of course, 99% use blanks from the Internet, and they are compiled a little more than nothing.
  • As far as I know, IP will not help much in obtaining loans, but rather the opposite. LLC in this case is a little better. Not everyone checks that the gene. dir. and founder - one person. If they check, the chances drop dramatically. Today you are a businessman, tomorrow you are bankrupt. PS: I received a mortgage from Sberbank.
  • Above, it was advised to open an LLC to save on taxes. What nonsense? In an LLC, you will pay the same 6% STS + 13% personal income tax when you want to get money in your pocket from the account of the Jur. faces. Yes, many people forget about it. That is, in order to live with an LLC in white, immediately consider the tax of 19%, not 6%.

Maybe a patent would work. You can calculate here https://patent.nalog.ru/info/

They rushed to a conclusion.
I have been working as a sole proprietor for 5 years now. Yes, I pay taxes. Yes, there are acts. But this is to the advantage of large employers, and it is better for them to work with individual entrepreneurs than in a "black" one. Specifically, I am now working for a foreign office, with which interaction without an individual entrepreneur would be impossible.
Don't want reporting? Buy a patent: no taxes and declarations - only pay a fixed amount to the FIU (once a year). And yes, if you want a loan / mortgage / etc., then without an IP they won’t give you anything, because you simply won’t be able to confirm your income (you won’t pay 13% personal income tax annually).
If you are a freelancer with all the consequences, then, of course, there is no point.

If the whole problem is "to take a loan", then it is better to live on without an individual entrepreneur. There will be less temptation to take out loans. Loans can only be taken to expand production. Everything else (replenishment of turnover, purchase of raw materials) is meaningless and increases the risks and sustainability of production.
A loan for consumer goods (cars, telephones, etc.) is a sign of complete financial illiteracy.

In no case do I want to belittle the dignity of those who answered, but rather than listen to comrades who believe that taxes are a waste of money (I myself am one of those), however, in addition to the fact that one day they may come for you, plus the situation when IP registrate in fact, it is necessary - this is employment under a contract sessionally in a company remotely. Here everything is intelligibly painted about the pros and cons and what exactly is the real gain in money: https://vc.ru/p/ip-for-it

Make a table with the risks and benefits for each option, that is, four columns (risks and benefits of the current type of work, and risks and benefits of working as an individual entrepreneur)
For example, working in the black, that is, no contracts, and signed pieces of paper, entails:
At the same time, the work of an individual entrepreneur reduces (or maybe not) the risk of the above point No. 1 and completely removes the second, but for this you pay with the amount of money that needs to be spent on taxes. The time that needs to be spent on paperwork and communication with authorities.
Then arrange the weight of each such line and see which option will fall out.
PS. As a simple answer - if before that you worked for several years in black and there were no problems, then why do you need an IP?

As a person who got involved in this adventure, I want to say that it is not worth opening an IP if you do not want a headache and other troubles.
As they suggested to me, the accounting department will manage all the affairs, but I will still need to run around to hand over something or pay personally - as a result, there were no pluses for the entire period and now I have a problem with closing this shnyaga.

it depends on the number of projects, on the period of work with the customer, on the amount that comes to you) they say if you often make transactions with a bank card (money transfers, etc.), then the tax office can calculate and visit you saying how you work at home. and if you get money 1-2 per month, then why bother)
