On Upwork Visibility Locked Private?
Six months ago I registered a profile on Upwork, threw connections there, made a Submit Proposal, they answered me, but I could not speak because I was driving, I asked to be contacted again, later. They answered me well, and so they no longer corresponded with the client. Therefore, I abandoned Upwork for a while, and today I decided to find someone else to do something there, I send several Submits and they don’t answer, can this be due to the fact that Visibility Locked Private, and they don’t see my profile, and can they answer me at all , what is Locked Private, what restrictions are imposed, what should I do?

You probably have Profile Visibility set to Private.
Open upwork.com main page while logged in.
On the right will be Visibility and a pencil.
Click it and make Public.
Indeed - this is due to inactivity on the site. There are several conditions that lead to this result. If a new user does not earn money within the first 90 days or if an experienced user has not been active for 2 years.
