Olympiad programming or is it worth it?

Good evening, I'm a 10th grade student and have been creating android development for about 2-3 years (I estimate my knowledge at about junior level). Well, more and more often, I notice that in order to get into top universities (on a budget, of course), you need to have not frail skills of Olympiad programming. So is it worth it to spend your time studying Olympiad programming (which I can’t understand how difficult it is there) or continue to develop for android and go to some ordinary university?
