Are there any tricks to help save the disk. Or is it all not important and just grandmother's tales?

Regular office work. There are no overloads.
I am not a developer, but an admin, but I can fully imagine the loads during such work.

Of course, don't use it.
Even horses die from work, let alone HDD and SSD.

If about rapid wear - fairy tales.
If about something that can fail - of course it can, any technique breaks down.
SSD optimization is often necessary and important, but it is done not for the sake of increasing the service life, but for the sake of speed. In some cases, performance suffers without optimization.
And all these optimization tips for the sake of saving write cycles - half are useless, the other half are harmful.
