Non-standard ways of working with the site from users

It does not pull on a full-fledged topic, rather an interesting observation.

Just now I came across an interesting way to use VKontakte comments:

That is, for some reason, some users prefer the “comments” section to bookmarks.

In general, there are bookmarks in VK (vk.com/fave), but there are two troubles with them:

1) Not everyone knows about them (seriously, many of you know that all “liked” entries are stored in your bookmarks? Personally, I found out about this only relatively recently, although I have been using the site for about two years.)

2) Likes are not bookmarks. Therefore, along with something useful in the bookmarks, there are photos of cats, someone's statuses, comics and other slag from the news feed. In addition, over time, a lot of records accumulate in the “bookmarks” and it becomes problematic to find the right one.

Therefore, the appearance of such a strange way to bookmark an entry looks quite logical.

Do you have any examples of similar "inventions" from users? This is not only about Vkontakte, and not necessarily about sites in general. If you have noticed something similar, please tell us in the answers.

I would hang up a ban for such meaningful "comments"

On DA, people use Watch for about these purposes.

Type then just find your "="? This is some nonsense.

VKontakte not only made a mistake with this. if they called "notes" blogs, people would write. And so - hamsters sometimes ask - "What are notes and why are they?"
And kammenty-bookmarks is normal. by the same principle I use habr. only meaningful comments, not signs.
