NodeJS server on share hosting without VPS hosting?
Good afternoon, Toaster users!
The situation is as follows:
I made a website with a NodeJS backend, wrote a server that I launch on the local machine through the console, after launch it starts listening on port: 3000. Since the standard hosting does not support NodeJS, I want to implement the launch of my server through php.
I found a solution on stack overflow: here
But I don’t understand how it will all work, and how I can run the server file on the hosting.
Maybe someone has already done this? Help me please.

What you found refers to shared server, not shared-hosting. No one will allow you to install anything on hosting, and even so that it works all the time. You need to look for hosting with nodejs support or take vps.
I have a Node.js service deployed on the run at the start tariff, details here
It is more realistic to find NodeJS PaaS hosting.
It is not expensive.
See Node.js shared hosting deals. It is quite possible, if not found, then to agree with the administration on the necessary functionality.
If you need PHP+Node.js = VPS ONLY!
