No AMD graphics driver for Windows 10 x64 is installed. Will a replacement help?

Hi all! I have the following problem:
Laptop: Lenovo z565
Video adapter: AMD Radeon HD 6470 M (Resolution 1366*768) (Displayed as HD 7400M in Device Manager after Windows 10 is installed)
No video driver is installed.
Previously, before updating Windows 10 to version 1702, the video driver worked perfectly, when installing the driver, I usually used the AMD autodetect utility.
Windows 10 worked with this video card for over a year!
After starting the laptop, the system hangs before reaching the Windows welcome (just a black screen and with a heavy load on the CPU, because it is very noisy and heated) then turns off.
The following methods have been taken:
1) Naturally reinstalling the OS through the Media Creation Tool from the Microsoft offsite (installed v1702)
Result: it installs and works only on the basic video driver from Microsoft (1024 * 768). The OS starts normally.
When installing the driver through the utility (once it finds the driver (amd 15.7.1), then it writes, "the video adapter is not supported")
After installation, the system hangs again before reaching the greeting, it is also impossible to enter safe mode in diagnostic mode, an error is generated .
amdkmafd.sys file not found
2) Loading off-line assemblies of Windows 1607 and 1511 same result
Loading drivers from AMD crimson edition 17.02 same result - it doesn't reach the greeting, and after installation "artifacts" appeared in the form of small stripes on a blue background .
Reverting to the original state through safe mode and uninstalling drivers (Display Driver Uninstall) - the basic Microsoft video driver is installed.
3) The driver 15.201.115.1008 was loaded through the update center.
I also found similar solutions about updating the chipset and editing the registry branches associated with the drivers, it did not help.
Without a reboot, the driver came up, but after a reboot, the same problem, rolled back again.
4) Then I just sorted through the drivers of different versions and AMD builds starting from 14.02 version 16.8.2, 16.11.3, etc.
I also installed it through a variety of driver assemblies (Driver Pack Solution defines the newest version and video card as 7400m) I also
installed it manually through the safe operating mode of the OS.
Outcome: Didn't help.
When installing any driver, even from Windows 7, it was applied, but after a reboot it did not work.
Processor temperature - 52.
Hard drive 1 - 30
SSD - 45
I want to note that for more than a year the drivers worked and sat quietly on Windows 10.
I already sinned on the HDD and SSD checked, there are no bad sectors, I installed the OS, pulling it out first to one, then to the second hard (taking them out one by one).
Previously, there was a problem physically with the video card - they soldered it and replaced it with a new one (it worked for 1.5 years)
How true is my assumption about physical wear and tear (for example, the blade of the GPU processor, etc.)?
If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd be grateful.

There was a similar situation. Definitely a problem with the GPU does not allow Windows to start, so the default driver is selected, without an accelerator, i.e. without DirectX and OpenGL.
I'm sorry, you'll probably have to fix it.

I had the same problem with Sony sb2x9r (intel + amd hybrid). Defined as 7400, basic functionality works (2d), but no more. All this when upgrading from 7 to 10. A clean installation of w10 breaks off in principle with a blue screen.
There are simply no drivers for AMD Radeon HD 6470 M. The manufacturer officially declares that there is no support and will not be. Iron is not supported and I did not find a way out of this situation.
Can you tell me where you found the drivers for it?

Approximately the same problem arose a week ago, after updating win10 to the latest version. One day, not a very beautiful day, Photoshop told me that in 3D it can no longer be, and in general ...
I went into the graphics settings (by the way, AMD 6520G) and saw that the latest 15.2 drivers need to be replaced with 15.7. Well, no problem, I turned on the update through the catalyst manager, downloaded it, clicked instal and ok, everything is like in the best houses in London and Paris. But at the installation stage, error 182 is issued (by the way, the encoding in the installer has flown off and switched to the Greek alphabet, but this is not accurate). Offsite says that this happens, it doesn’t matter, and suggested downloading the updated driver by hand, which I did. After installing the driver, I rebooted the laptop, received a greeting and opened the manager, which indicated that the drivers are old (15.2) and need to be updated, surprise surprise, to version 15.7. Feeling something was wrong, I got into the device manager and saw that there are now two video cards, one native "6520g", the second "6400-7500M".
Good people, help whoever can, the work is worth it.
P.S. judging by the number of people complaining on these Internets, the problem with firewood is massive and it concerns two steel elements - updating wine 10 and video cards of the 6400-7500 series
P.P.S. do not judge strictly for this confusion, but for the 4th day in a row I try to return "everything as it was", but it does not return, my brain boils. thank.

For critical jobs, it is worth having backups of the system partition in a way, as when "I set everything up well and I'm happy", "+added something, and it works ok"
Sometimes the settings and configs are very expensive - time and nerves are paid for.
What to do - there are many options. from Ghost and Acronis TI, to - I recommend -
Veeam Backup - to a separate dedicated removable disk -
it will do everything by itself, even on the go, during operation
(well, if you are doing something responsible, wait a while with backup, otherwise resources .. .)
Inserted, waited - removed.
On this disk, you will have both a full copy of the partition and increments to it, for rolling back to selected states from the available copies...
Another option, if you have more than one machine - UrBackup (also Bacula / BareOS for advanced =)
All of them drag images and backups on the go (while you are working, and the schedule does not prohibit) over the network to themselves.
