Is it possible to upgrade the i3 processor in a Lenovo laptop?

There is a 2010 laptop Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 14 " TYPE 0578-A21 . Then only i3 appeared and the M330, 2.13 GHz is installed there.
Is it possible to replace this processor with a more powerful one without changing the motherboard? If so, what is the ceiling?

Is there any point, even if it is possible? Are you sure it's the processor you're missing? Maybe an SSD is needed?

Look at forum.thinkpads.com/ - there is information about most of the synthpads from real owners, there they change a lot of memory, and insert processors to the maximum, and in general frankenpads are built by inserting into successful motherboard cases from suitable newer models, etc.

Judging by this information, the ceiling for your typewriter is i5-430M. In principle, you can try higher, but I would not advise trying to stick an undeclared percent.
