NLB balancing, terminal farm, how to connect to a terminal farm from an external network?
Hello, according to an article on the Internet ( http://www.oszone.net/7004/) I did balancing using NLB balancing (windows 2008r2), I did everything without errors. As a result, on the internal network, I can access the ip allocated for the cluster 192.168.1.66 and balancing occurs. In the router, I forward to this ip and try to log in, but nothing happens. Forwarding works because if I configure it to any other server, then it is connected. But not on ip allocated for clusters (therm.farm). The only thing that, in the article on Habrahabr, it is indicated to do it using a gateway, but I did it without gateways, I don’t know if it affects it?

Try either to create an IP - MAC binding in the table of your gateway (if it can) \ add the MAC NLB Virtual IP table to arp.
If it doesn't work, then only two balanced NAT rules will save you.
Tell me what about gateways? are they needed or not, I mean gateways as a service in the remote desktop, .. If you do not take security into account .. As long as you only need to get from outside to the farm, are they needed?
