Netbook. Display not working?

Good day!
There is a netbook, MSI Wind u120 U210 . Worked exactly as long as it was necessary to stop relying on warranty repairs. Having worked perfectly all day, he was “sleeped” and moved in a bag for a certain distance, and after turning it on, the display stopped working.
Now it is able to reflect two states:
- low resolutions - the screen is divided into two equal halves, the left one is uniformly gray, approximately # 999999, the right one - one-pixel vertical stripes, sometimes interrupted, the colors are approximately # 666666 and # cccccc.
- high resolutions - the screen is evenly filled with dark gray.
When you connect a monitor via DSUB or a TV via HDMI, the picture is displayed normally.
The ability to change the brightness (Fn + Up / Down) is available, the backlights change the brightness normally.
Tell me, please, where to dig. Mysterious video glitch? Line covered? Did the matrix controller get sick? Maybe something else?
It is unlikely that it will get into the service before Monday, and at the service they may well ask for the cost of a new analogue for repairs, which, of course, will not suit me.
I would like to independently localize the cause and estimate the cost of repair using a kit from eBay / etc.
Thank you in advance.

Most of all it looks like a problem with the loop. Before changing it, it is worth trying to simply plug it in, the contact in the connector may have come off, this often happens.

If there were only vertical stripes or gaps (vertical lines) in the picture, then the train is probably the reason. There was a similar problem with the Dell XPS, but it had a discrete video Nvidia 8400GS, in fact, the problem was in it, I had to re-solder the chip. But in your case, the video goes to a discrete monitor, which means that the video is alive. What remains is the matrix controller.

Stripes are not necessarily a train, I encountered similar problems several times. It is worth, first of all, to check the video card and controller. My sister on acer aspire I don’t remember which model had a problem in the integrated video card.
For tests of a cable or not, there is the most elementary way - connecting a monitor to a laptop via VGA, check if it works.

Line or matrix. Vryatli video, because there is nothing to burn there, it's not nvidia.
By the way, the performance of VGA does not mean the serviceability of the video card.
