NetBeans 8.2 does not understand that a file on the server has changed when opening a local copy. How to fix?

Several people working on a project.
Recently moved to NetBeans 8.2. Before that, I used Eclipce for many years, but for some reason I had to abandon it.
Our files on the SERVER are edited NOT only by me, but at least 1-2 programmers, and a layout designer.
NetBeans doesn't see a file when I open it that it has been modified on the server by someone else. As a result, I edit my local copy, and then he stupidly uploads it to the server, spitting on other people's changes.
phpStorm can be configured so that before opening a file, it checks the server by date and size and reports that the file has been changed + offers to merge.
And in NetBeans 8.2, I did not find such settings. Or maybe not looking there.
It is not necessary to offer everyone your own DEV + Git-SVN. They don't want to go for it.
Maybe there is a plugin? I searched among the suggested ones in the list, but did not find it.

I found only one method so far - before opening a file, first click on it with the right mouse and download :-)
Was it really so difficult to do one more thing - download and open?
And it's best to give me a choice in the properties - what to do with the opened file, just open it or first download it from the server, and then open it.
And before saving, it would not hurt to first check whether the file on the server has changed since the last opening.
