My monitor beeped
Good day
to all. Be happy for me - yesterday I assembled a fresh typewriter and bought a Philips 237E QHA for it.
The monitor suits me completely with both the picture and the built-in (albeit lousy) speakers, if not for one BUT
It squeaks. The high-frequency squeak comes out, as I understand it, with a large number of dark dots (if a dark toy is running or if everything is filled in paint with black, it squeaks)
it also squeaks when the brightness decreases below 100%
.
Questions
Is this normal (for me it's not normal)?
Can it be treated without surgery?
Is this a warranty case?
Citylink has a return program for like 7 or 10 days - "no questions asked." will they not be squeezed out that I have already torn off the protective films (sticky cellophane with advertising along the contour of the monitor, on the stand, on the back cover)
Thank you all for your answers

You can’t do without opening the monitor, but most likely some kind of throttle squeaks there. In any case, try to take it back to the store.
I had the same problem, it was with a Dell monitor, it started to make a high-pitched sound (beep). The monitor was a little more than half a year old, I called Dell, they completely changed the monitor to a new one, I am very pleased with the Dell service. Perhaps it was from the very beginning, I just did not notice, besides, this problem is aggravated by the fact that this squeak will probably only get louder. I use two such monitors, the second same monitor did not squeak and does not squeak.
Probably some kind of throttle or impulsnik beeps. (there is nothing else there). How critical is a difficult question, it may just be poorly wound or flooded (if flooded at all) - that's the windings and squeak. It is better not to treat.
It is quite possible that they will squeak all of this model.
I adhere to the principle - I do not like it and there is an opportunity to change - I change. And then, as if you didn’t have to bite your elbows.
Not so long ago, I changed my laptop (lenovo y500), having also peeled off all the films, without problems.
Arm yourself with the ZoPP and take it to the seller with the goods. Will change.
This monitor has an external power supply, as far as I can see, it is he who can squeak, and not the monitor itself. Check if so - it's easier to throw deeper under the table and forget. The times are such that every second (if not the first) power source beeps, so you can change it for a long time and hard ...
So far, I solved the problem like this - I turned off the dynamic contrast on the monitor (it reduces it itself with a large number of dark dots)
I’ll think about it, maybe I’ll return it to the store
thanks to everyone
