How to find out if an SSD is working in Windows 10 via IDE or AHCI, how to check it?

Open device manager and look at the controller (well, or the driver).
Go into the BIOS (UEFI) and see the operating mode.
Run any of the testing utilities (AIDA, Sandra, PC Mark, CrystallDiskInfo, and so on)
Indirectly by read / write speed :)
