We have a movie, we want to release it in its original form under the GPL license with all the consequences.
Question 1. How legally possible is this?
Question 2. Where is it better to post?
Question 3. Was there such a practice?

1. Varies by jurisdiction and local laws.
2. The question is not entirely clear, is there any connection with the license? The place is determined by the audience. If the audience is Russian-speaking, post it on Rutracker.
3. I have not seen the GPL specifically for films.
Why the GPL? There are specially designed Creative Commons licenses for films and similar works. They are better aligned with the legislation of many countries. Take a look at them.
