Motherboard for a new computer: Gigabyte vs ASRock vs ..?
In continuation of my topic about the new computer.
Having put together all the tips, I got a powerful configuration (i72600k - HD6990 - 8GB RAM etc) . I chose Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 as the motherboard - a proven manufacturer, everything you need is there.
And yet I doubt whether to replace it with ASRock with similar parameters? Or does it not make much sense, what about the price, what about the performance characteristics there is no fundamental difference?
PS Overclock? To be honest, lazy. But I'll have to, because it's stupid not to do this with such a configuration :-) I don't want to use solutions with double cards.

I advise Gigabyte - a time-tested company. We constantly buy a large number of PCs with their motherboards - there are no problems.
I do not advise even considering mothers asrock, msi, biostar, elitgroup. For the most part, this is low-quality Chinese, although it is made at the same factories. For 3 years in the service, most of these particular mothers went into the trash.
if possible, then take Asus, Gigabyte, Intel.
The configuration is certainly good, but alas, neither the percentage nor the motherboard pulls VT-d for an ordinary home computer, of course it is not very important, but if virtual machines are actively used, and in full, then it is advisable to choose a configuration with VT-d
By the way, at the expense of the motherboard, look at the comparison www.gigabyte.com/products/comparison/list.aspx?ck=2&pids=3763 ,3824
This is a comparison of a similar mother with support for Intel vPro and Intel AMT (required for normal operation of VT-d) with yours - it is cheaper, but there is no USB 3.0 (although it is not particularly needed, but it can always be delivered) and the maximum draws 1333 memory. (although you are going to put one). But with Intel AMT technology you can play around.
