Mobile version in the app?

Good afternoon.
We have a mobile version of the site, which is quite well adapted and suits us in terms of functionality.
Now, we are thinking not to create a separate mobile application, but to make an application that will simply load the mobile version of the site (in its own window, of course).
Interested in what are the pros and cons of this option?
And in general, how correct is it to do so?
