What are the disadvantages of using frameworks for mobile applications

Friends, tell me, please, what are the disadvantages of using frameworks for mobile applications. PhoneGap, rhomobile, adobe air, etc. The advantages are clear - there is no need to develop separately for different platforms, for example, iOS and Android. Interested in disadvantages. Provided that we are talking about more or less simple business applications based on client-server interaction, and there is no need to make complex video games.

I apologize right away, I'm not a programmer, so I'll be happy with fairly simple wording :)

If you make simple applications, then there are no drawbacks, they all have one drawback: speed. For some, it's all about performance, for others it's about memory, but in general, all this reduces the speed of the program.

There is also a point in that you need to pay for cross-platform in that the application will not look native on any of the platforms. Each platform has its own style guidelines and they are written for a reason. It is impossible to meet them all in one product.

There are a lot of disadvantages: speed, size, design, inability to go down to a lower-level API, etc. There is only one advantage - no need to bother with development for several platforms. So think. However, I can advise you to write a site tailored only for mobile devices (like http://touch.facebook.com/ or http://t.vk.com/ ) - you will definitely win in speed, design and size!
