Mandrill closing?

Who can explain what awaits mandrill in the near future. The level of my English does not allow me to understand the details. Here's what they write blog.mandrill.com/important-changes-to-mandrill.html Is the
service shutting down?
API no longer usable?
Or do you just have to pay the mailchimp rates?

The service is not closed, it just becomes paid from the end of April (monthly subscription to mailchimp)
I switched to sendpulse from it (UPD: I suddenly found out that sendpulse has a limit of 50 per hour and 200 per day. And there is no way to increase it. Clowns.)
