How to return correspondence in Outlook?
After compressing mail, mail contacts are no longer displayed, and after sending a letter, it does not become outgoing. (it is not clear whether it went away, whether it reached or not) Since this is Outlook, and not express, the data should be stored on my stationary, and not on a server. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with the file where the contact sheet is stored? Linking to another client might help?

The main task of the compress function is the actual deletion of mail messages previously marked as deleted.
Contacts are saved.
The contact sheet is not stored in a separate file in Outlook.
If the checkbox for saving sent messages to the sent folder is checked in the program settings, then the client will do so. Otherwise, contact your mail server administrator.
Contacts, like all other mail, are stored in *.pst (for pop3 servers) or *.ost (for imap). Look for these files.
