Interesting mac mini. In addition, I already have a good monitor, I also have a laptop, so I don’t see the point in another one.
Since I had no experience with mac os, I want to ask how much RAM does it need for comfortable work? What you need: graphic editors, a lot of tabs and all sorts of sublimes and servers. Will 8gb be enough?
Where is the best place to buy in Russia? (I'm in a small town).
What else is worth paying attention to?

In my opinion, it's better to take a MacBook and hook it up to a monitor, if you originally intended to work with an external monitor. Because when you want to take your Mac with you (and you want to), you will not be tied to additional equipment.
8GB is more than enough for very intensive work with graphics packages (Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editors (Final Cut Pro X). These programs feed me every day, and you can see the result in a small town (federal advertising, TV)
Before you buy, read how people who want to buy Apple are bred, this is important. Forewarned - armed. Sweet prices for the real thing are rare. It is advisable to make a purchase at an authorized store or second-hand at their service center.

Buying Mac mini 2012. With i7. Medium or maximum configuration. Find real.
Then upgrade to 16GB. = 8000r
Then upgrade the hard drive to SSD =10 000r.
Mac mini 2014 is worse.
