Hey! Recently I bought a Macbook Air on M1, 16GB of RAM. With only chrome open, the free RAM is about 500 mb, is this normal?

Are you going to marinate it or leave it to your grandchildren?
Makos always eats free memory to the maximum for various caches and prefetches, and frees it as needed.
