Macbook air heats up at the start of any loads, can I fix it?

Please tell me, my macbook air starts to heat up at the beginning of some kind of load.
For example, if you run a heavy web application, it starts to warm up.
Run the android emulator, literally within a few minutes it turns from cold to hot.
Is it like that for everyone? And can it be fixed?
I have thoughts that macbook air is only for content consumption, like a tablet.
