How to run windows on external SSD on MacBook Pro 2019?
On the Internet there are instructions for installing windows on an external SSD for macbooks. Did everything for them. Since I have a 2019 model, I first allowed booting from external drives in recovery mode and lowered the security level to medium.
Then I downloaded the Boot Camp drivers and the latest version of Windows from off. site under MacOS.
Rufus rolled all this on an SSD from under Windows on another laptop. I start on a poppy, holding down option, and instead of Windows, MacOS tries to boot, after which it fails to boot.
Has anyone encountered something similar? Any thoughts on what it might depend on?
