Mac OC flash drives won't eject?

I began to notice that .Trasher .Spotlight files and the like appear on the flash drive. I started poking different commands in the terminal, like mount / unmount, and as a result, now when I remove the flash drive, it says "The disk cannot be ejected because it is in use"

.Trasher .Spotlight They should appear if they are scary, there are a lot of programs that remove them. But there's no point in messing with it.
