Mac, gaming problem - overheating?

Good afternoon!
I have a Macbook Pro Late 2011 13", 16GB RAM, i5 processor, SSD + HDD. Problems started, it's almost impossible to play games. Crashes and kernel panics after a while. There are no such problems in any other applications. Is it a sin for overheating? If so, is it worth it to take a cooling pad like this - www.ulmart.ru/goods/336347? And in general, how to understand the culprit of the crashes?
Thanks in advance!

Hello. Unlikely. Maybe just a lot of debris flew in, it's time to clean. It was necessary to buy a stand right away, not to let the cat in, not to put it on a blanket ;-).
Z.Y. In poppies and beeches, including powerful ventilation.

Most likely overheating, dried thermal paste, or dust-clogged cooling. Disassemble and clean, replace thermal paste.

How to clean it, replace the paste, buy a stand for the summer, the beech body, although it lowers the temperature by 7-12g temporarily. The stand will better cool it additionally even at low speeds via 1 USB

In addition to cooling options, there were also problems with video cards.
