Learn how to use Labels in GMail?

Gentlemen, such a question. I want letters in gmail to be sorted by senders, some keywords and dropped into certain folders. As I understand it, there is no such thing as folders in gmail, there are Labels. Okay, I create several Labels, I create rules that certain letters are for certain Labels. A letter arrives, next to it there is an icon of one or another Labels, but it is still in the inbox. To exclude it, you have to manually select, then Move To and already specify the desired Label.
How to make sure that the letter does not appear in the Inbox, but immediately gets into the Label?

in the filter settings there is an option "immediately archive", then the letter will not be "in the inbox", but only by the tag.

Only your phrase “immediately hit the Label” has already been answered above shows that you didn’t understand something. Labels are labels. They don't get there. And they are hung.
Those. One letter can have multiple tags.
