Laptop not seeing hdd?

I bought a lace from one end 2xUSB2.0 from the other SATA like firewood was loaded, but there is nothing in my computer, a laptop with windows usb inputs are working

I found the disk in computer management -> disk management, formatted it and it appeared, although at first I went to mass usb storage in the device manager and there on the volume tab I clicked fill

HDD requires 12V. This is not the case with USB. An external power supply is required.
