Laptop BIOS does not see SSD - what to do?

I decided to put an SSD drive instead of a DVD drive in a laptop.
I inserted an SSD drive - the BIOS does not see it.
I immediately decided to check if everything was fine with the SSD, put it instead of the usual HDD on the main SATA input - the BIOS saw it. At the same moment, I installed the HDD instead of the drive - the BIOS does not see it either.
That is, the BIOS does not see the disk that I insert into the second SATA port, instead of the DVD_drive.

I googled here https://smartronix.ru/bios-ne-vidit-ssd setting in Windows 7 ACHI mode for SSD.
Installed some SATA drivers after a reboot, but the drive never showed up.

I also tried to sort through the
Legacy USB Support
UEFI USB Support
Set ACHI Mode values in the BIOS

Unfortunately, searching through all combinations of values did not help.

Please give me more ideas to solve the problem. Thanks in advance

UPD: After the next fraud, everything worked.
I assume that the main reason is that I did not insert the drive itself enough into the port that is in the adapter. Of course, I think that the ACHI setting in the registry was also needed in order for everything to work, since earlier Windows simply did not work with ACHI enabled.
