How to connect 3 monitors?
There is a Palit GTX 770 JetStream 2GB video card, as well as 2 monitors HP Pavilion 23xi and HP Pavilion 23cw. The first monitor is connected via DVI, the second via HDMI, both monitors are Full HD. One more DVI port and one Display Port remained free on the video card. I have a desire to purchase a 3rd monitor, but I think it will work?
The fact is that in the first place I read that the 3rd monitor must be connected via Display Port, but nowhere did I find a description of why this is so. Who can explain this point?
Also, on the manufacturer's website, the maximum resolution for this card is 4096x2160. Will this video card bring out 3 monitors in Full HD if using standard Windows tools to expand the screen without setting a common resolution for all 3 monitors using Nvidia Surround.

I drove 3 monitors on the GTX 680. One is connected via Display Port (1920x1200), the second via DVI (1920x1080), the third via DVI with an adapter to VGA (1280x1024). There were no problems.
Faced this issue at work, re-read a bunch of information. It's good that you have such a question at all, because many generally believe that "if there are three outputs on a video card, then you can connect three monitors")) This is far from always the case; Of course, this does not mean duplicating the picture, but expanding the desktop.
Support for three monitors must be declared by the manufacturer and implemented in the hardware and driver (software) of the video card. It seemed to me that the multi-monitor configuration is simpler for Radeon (R7-R9 series), everything is intuitively clear in the AMD Catalyst settings. Plus, AMD has a good proprietary Eyefinity technology that allows you to connect up to 6 (!) Monitors to one video card. I connected three monitors using the HDMI + DVI-I + DVI-D scheme without using DP.
Unfortunately, I can’t say for sure specifically on your video card, study the documentation for it more carefully, but my opinion is that it is possible.
