Which processor is better to choose?

Good morning!
Comrades, what is the best processor to buy for socket 1155 LGA?
The mother has an intel H67 chipset
. Actually, I want to give the computer to my nephew, but the processor is not ok.
Now it's Core i5-2300 2.80 Hz, DDR3 16gb, HDD 2tb, GF 680GTX.
It is natural for him for the most part for games.

On the screen of the name of what makes at least some sense for the purchase. The red frame highlights positions that will give a tangible increase.
But in general, you can play quite comfortably on what you have, if you do not chase ultra-graphics.

IMHO, in games the difference between the i5-2300 and the top i7 will be no more than 10-15%, no more than the difference in the frequency of 3GHz against a maximum of 3.5-3.6GHz.
Maybe you play on the built-in map, instead of 680? Or video drivers are crooked?
I support the opinion that there is no point in another processor, especially on the intel H67, where all these 3770K
cannot be overclocked.

I see no obvious reason to change the processor, it should be enough for most games anyway.
