Kotlin: error "Unresolved reference: math_operation"?
Hello.
I continue to write a calculator, I watched Dudar's video on how to create a calculator in Kotlin. I got to the point where he, using setOnClickListener, adds a character to the TextView field, but I get an error when starting the program, with the math_operation.append(str) operator. The program throws the error "Unresolved reference: math_operation"
I tried to include the kotlin.math.* library, but it didn't help me. What could be the reason for the error?
The code itself:
package com.example.mycalculater
import android.support.v7.app.AppCompatActivity
import android.os.Bundle
import kotlinx.android.synthetic.main.activity_main.*
import kotlin.math.*
class MainActivity : AppCompatActivity() {
override fun onCreate(savedInstanceState: Bundle?) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState)
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main)
plus.setOnClickListener { setTextFields("+") }
}
fun setTextFields(str: String) {
math_operation.append(str)
}
}
