Keds or Gnome? (more precisely, for me it's maybe Ubuntu Budgie)?

spoiler

until now, I was impressed that the starting consumption of RAM by sneakers is about 0.5 GB, against 0.8-1 GB by any derivatives of the gnome, and preferred sneakers,
but for some time now doubts have gnawed - anyway, most of the valuable software, as a rule relies on GTK and not on QT .. and the preponderance is such that it seems that all the poles of sneakers go into minuses ... (((
who will share what on this score?
ps Caliber Evalution, LibreOffice, ItelliJ IDEA - everything seems to be on GTK, with such locomotives of dependencies, in which *GTK* constantly flickers, that I became thoughtful ((
pps Caliber turned out to be Qt ))

@mindtester

Use whatever is comfortable.
But if we start from a more "Orthodox" set, then, I think, gtk is still more mainstream and lightweight (this has happened historically, although it's hard to call the last gnome fast, so really red-eyed people will prefer some kind of xfce)
