Jira - Automatic Time Tracking?

We started using Jira and GreenHopper for project management in our team.
As long as everyone likes it. But there is one nuance that we can not solve.
Time Tracking needs to be set manually, but there are Start progress and Stop progress
buttons. I would like that when these buttons are pressed (that is, when the status changes to In progress), the time of work on the task is considered.
Has anyone figured out a similar functionality?

I once wrote a userscript for the browser just for these purposes (JIRA 4, 5, 5.1): github.com/seletskiy/jira-userscripts
jira*-worklog-helper.user.js files.

To be honest, IMHO I do not see the point in this button. Because when working with a tracker, it often happens that when you work on one task, and another task with an emergency priority arrives, then all tasks are relegated to the background and the task with an urgent priority is solved. You can also just forget about pressing stop process. Use the manual method

I remember trying this thing: worklogassistant.com/ I liked it, but the price is very high. I just wrote my simple client.

WorklogAssistant did not suit us with its slowness and constant glitches / crashes.
Now we have found Jiraph - although the product is young, it works as it should, I like that the developers listen to our wishes and actively add features, although we have not bought it yet.
