Jetpack and CDN Photon bad for SEO?

Hello! I am not an SEO specialist.

But I'm interested in the question: does the Jetpack plugin and its CDN Photon really hurt SEO?
CDN Photon creates links to i0.wp.com/$REMOTE_IMAGE_URL
And many write that these links can be perceived as outgoing links and they harm promotion.

Is there anyone in the know who can tell if this is true or not?
Or you can not be afraid and feel free to use its functionality?

Do not worry at all, everything is ok with this, links are not perceived as outgoing

These are not links on the site, but just the url of images, they have nothing to do with outgoing ones
