I so understand all this business in Windows happens? Well, open the regular resource monitor and everything becomes clear.
Look for what this virtualka rests on. I can assume that it's all about disk IO.

If all the settings are by default, then most likely there is not enough RAM (if there are not hundreds of GB of it, of course)
