Is Virtualbox bad for ssd?

Hello, I want to buy an ssd drive to use linux on it. On linux, I quite often use running Virtualbox with WinXp and Win7 virtual machines (editing psd layouts, layout, etc.). Will this greatly affect the life of the ssd? And do I need to disable swap for ssd in linux?

@lodas

you have outdated information. ssd has been reliable for a long time and you don’t need to bother with all sorts of tricky settings.
only if you have a server, then put a server ssd. and don't buy cheap shit like smartbay or wd green they have models with a very small resource

Will this greatly affect the life of the ssd?
Will.
The fact of use greatly affects the term.
If you care about the period of use, it is better not to buy SSD, HDD and other equipment - it tends to break when used.
And if the equipment is not used, it is always like new.
Bought, installed, use!
You don't need to do any settings or other tricks.
Settings and other tricks are needed in order for the disk to work quickly - then, yes, it is desirable to configure some things.
