Is there compatibility between Nvidia 3D Vision 1 and 2?

Hello.
Interested in the question, is there compatibility between the first and second generation?
I saw this picture in the reviews

In addition to new technologies, NVIDIA also thought about compatibility. The new glasses will work with the old IR transmitter without problems, and the old glasses will work with the new transmitter.

But it is not entirely clear whether the compatibility is complete, i.e. does it make sense to buy the second generation or can you buy the first + new glasses and everything will be the same? Or does the new emitter add some new stuff?

In all possible combinations, the kit will work.
But lightboost will only work if both the glasses, the emitter, and the monitor are second generation.
However, taking an old set of glasses, even if the monitor is old, makes little sense - it will do for the future, and new glasses are stupidly more convenient.

The emitters in both versions are the same, the glass characteristics are the same. The difference is only in the ergonomics of the glasses. I can’t test the operation of lightboost on glasses of the first version myself, since there is no such monitor available, but my opinion is that lightboost is implemented on the side of the monitor, and will work with any version of glasses.
