Is there an alternative to 1C for small businesses?

Hello!
About 15 years ago, I wrote a program to automate the warehouse of a small company using the good old Foxpro (2.6). Now the program is morally obsolete, and the client stubbornly does not want to switch to 1C, citing redundant functionality and difficulty in mastering. Who is familiar with the topic, is there any simpler analogue for warehouse automation and hedgehogs with it? The main requirement is the ability to print documents of the established form (invoices, invoices and hedgehogs with them). Or to convince the client that 1C is salvation?
Oh yes, I almost forgot, the company is small and it is doing poorly, some budget option is needed.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

If in any case they have to study the functionality of the new program , so why not 1C?

You can try the free DataExpress - Database Builder . The system works on the principle of CCCP (do it yourself :)), created forms, threw fields, connected them together, made friends with printed templates and already consider it - a document filler. If you push yourself hard, you can do something more complicated, make the necessary reports, expand the logic using a script engine (built into the program)...

Why has the client been stagnant since the late 90s, that he does not need to expand the functionality?
Here you need to look at the situation, if you need classic accounting, then take a simple 1C conf and finish the settings to the required type, if you just need accounting in a warehouse / store, that is, there are many web solutions that can cope with this task, or even the same "1C environment" + free "amateur", "supposedly educational/diploma" configurations.
Just try to convince the client that finding a specialist and ready-made processing according to standard 1C is much easier and cheaper than using unpopular accounting, and maintenance in this case will repeatedly strangle the savings from implementation, and since it’s all the same to retrain users when implementing, then where is the profit?

Budget option, just 1C.
There are simple document printers. But how will it be with the support of a system closed to changes in a couple of years?
You can not use unnecessary functionality in 1C. Moreover, in the latest versions, you can disable unnecessary functionality and it will not be an eyesore in the menu.

I understand that the question concerns specifically accounting software, but you did not consider using a service that combines accounting outsourcing and software for online interaction with clients as an alternative. uploading documents through the application or personal account (automatic recognition and posting), and after verification by "live" accountants.
For example, we have been working with the OfficeBlack service for more than a year - there have been no complaints so far.

For example (free):
akaunting
dolibarr
mixerp
Or there are plenty of options here:

There is software that can replace 1C for operational accounting, procurement automation, financial accounting, and the production unit.
The system is called Workshop=Success.
I can't imagine how we managed without this system before. She herself calculates the salary, orders components, issues shift assignments to workers.
Find videos on youtube using this system
