"Invalid XML version" when importing orders, how to deal with?

When importing information about orders from 1C to Bitrix, the script gives an error "Invalid XML version" (standard Bitrix import script). As far as I understood from the code, it expects CommerceML 2.x, but I get 3.1 from 1C. Moreover, both 1C and the online store module in Bitrix, as far as I know, have been updated to the latest versions. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? How to deal with it?
