That is, so that not the entire flow goes through the VPN as usual, but you can specify which specific applications will connect through the VPN client.
By the way, having installed the VPN client, I specify in it that traffic from Telegram goes through it, attention - without setting up the Telegram client itself, something like a transparent proxy for specific applications.

ShadowSocks in PAC mode. Only it redirects based on urls, not apps

This is called a proxy. The letter N in the VPN abbreviation stands for Network (network)

AdvOR has a "sight" tool that can be hovered over any application, and it will intercept network interfaces in it, even if the application itself does not support proxies. This is for TOR, I don't know about VPN.
