Can't open a port?

Hello everyone, I made my vpn on WireGuard, but I ran into the problem of opening ports for applications, I
tried the command

iptables -t filter -A INPUT -p udp --dport 4444 -j ACCEPT

but it still says the port is closed. What to do ?

Weirgard, if you knock on him without a key valid for the server, in my opinion, he doesn’t answer anything. And all Internet "port checkers" in general are sharpened on TCP, for obvious reasons.
