Is there a personal equivalent of facebook timeline?
Everyone Many have already seen the new facebook timeline interface. I wonder if there is something like this for personal purposes - it seemed to me very convenient to keep a personal photo album in this form, for example. I understand that it is possible to make all entries and photos on Facebook under lock and key, but this is a constant concern for privacy. I also understand that this can be done on any blogging engine, but it will not be so beautiful visually, although, probably, it can be finished. As for sharing, for me the most convenient option is the one that is implemented in picasa and which, it seems, will soon be killed due to Google plus - when you just give a link to a person or group of people to a photo album and he can not see it using this link registering on the server without entering a password - you just need to know the "secret" link.
In general, we need some kind of convenient service for maintaining an autobiography, mainly in photographs. Suitable as a solution in the form of a web service, and in the form of an application for installation on a web server (maybe the second is even better).

There is a solution on jQuery - here is an article on this topic habrahabr.ru/blogs/jquery/137436/
After searching, I came across this post. The problem is that it is not clear how to search for it in Russian.
And Google gives a lot of links to "personal timeline software". Most of it leads to some completely clumsy software that looks like it was made in 1995 and has not changed since then.
www.tiki-toki.com/ - it looks nice, but online and there are almost no additional features. In short, not a tool. And I want zoom, categories, different histograms that are pleasant.
progenygenealogy.com/products/timeline-charts.aspx- it looks like something you need. But having briefly become acquainted with the topic, I realized that the situation is like with genealogical software. There is a certain standard (GED file), around which you need to assemble a bunch of different utilities and programs that will solve your problem.
But I haven’t found a separate program, sharpened especially for me to fill in the dates there and “start-finish”, add a photo in the style of “I am on the line on September 1, 1945” on the first try.
