Is there a console utility to work with iso images without unpacking?

I want to fully automate the installation of patches in the windows image. But there is a moment with unpacking the image, extracting the wim file. It is necessary that the utility makes it possible to work with the image as a folder. Will there be ideas?
Note: I did not find a finished product with downloading patches, checking for their presence in the distribution kit, deleting - adding, and spitting out the image. Interested in the project 1 config + "start" button

Have you tried using an archiver that can open iso files? winRAR, 7-zip for example.

The ISO 9660 format itself is not capable of making changes to an existing data structure, without adding and recreating the entire image anew, unless, of course, these changes displace all data. I can recommend preparing an "image" in a folder, and then using a utility, for example, UltraISO, to make it an ISO image. You can even schedule it if you want to automate it as much as possible: she knows how to use the command line.
