What free analogues of Daemon Tools Lite do you know?

Actually, there is a proposal to compile a list of suitable free analogues for drive emulation under Win, Linux and OSX.
Frankly, programs with a built-in Yadnex browser and other advertising rubbish are bugged.

Under Linux, no additional programs need to be installed. Almost any distribution comes with a "mount" utility out of the box, you can use it to mount an image. And you can make a disk image with almost every command (cp, dd, rsync, cat...).
